How To Use Our Services

Our Guardian Team does their best to make your experience fun, easy, & FAST!
You can use our services in one of two ways:

#1 - PRE-ORDER online and reserve storage space. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... since space is limited & fills up fast!)
​
#2 - Show up on-site the day of the event. (First-come, First-served!)
​
Simply follow these steps (which will already have been completed for anyone that PRE-ORDERS):
1) Fill out an INFO card with your Name, Email, Phone Number, & Emergency Contact Number.
(This is how we keep track of your items.)

2) Determine the size of bag you'll need that can fit all of your belongings.
(Mini, Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large. We can also take your back pack or duffel bag.)

3) Provide payment
(We accept cash, credit card, or debit card.)
​
That's it, super easy! Then, when you are ready to retrieve your belongings, a Guardian will verify your info based on the INFO card
you submitted at drop-off and will get your items for you quickly!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

There are certain things you should know about before deciding to use our services. As a company that is service oriented, we have policies in place that make our business fair, fun, and as easy to use as possible. When it comes to keeping your things safe in a convenient, nearby place, there are limitations to what we can accommodate. Below you will find a sample of items that we do not allow, and will not accept, in our storage marque. Please read the asterisk notes relating to certain items on this list as there may be exceptions in some situations.
-Weapons:
-Firearms of any kind*
-Knives with functional blades longer than 2inches**
-Compressed air containers
-Exposed pornographic materials
-Perishable food items
-Animals
-Anything toxic, bio-hazardous, or flammable
-Illegal drugs, prescription medications, or over the counter medications***
-Glass containers (such as bottles)
-Items valued over $500****

Why Do You Need Storage & What Will You Be Storing?

Your storage needs will vary from event to event. For example, if you are going to a mud run you will probably want to leave your phone, a change of clothes, an extra pair of shoes, and some snacks with us. If you are a biker attending a biker rally, you might want to leave your jacket and helmet someplace safe while you go out and enjoy the event you came for. Don't worry, you can swing by anytime you want to either grab something, check on something, or drop off additional items*. The rate you pay is a fixed daily rate and is based on how much storage space your items will require.

*If you have already paid for storage space and return later or throughout the day to drop off additional items, you may be required to purchase additional storage space if those items do not fit in the storage that has already been purchased. If this is the case, you will be allowed a discounted rate.
*The only exception to the firearm rule is when we are providing services to gun shows or similar trade shows/conventions. In those instances, firearms are still required to be locked in a container, with no magazine inserted or ammunition loaded into the firearm. Basically, the same rules that would apply to an individual who is flying with their firearm.
**Pocket knives with functional blades 2 inches or less are allowed as long as they can be folded closed and/or collapsed. Any knife with a sharp functional blade over 2 inches must be in a sheath of some sort so as to not puncture through a bag and pose any threat of potential injury to Guardian Event Storage staff. Knives with out functional blades includes items such as swords intended for display (like something you might buy at a comic con) but must remain in their original container and/or sheathed.
***As a matter of public health, we are not authorized to open any medication containers to verify that the contents are in fact the medication listed on the label. However, we do understand that many individuals have medical needs and would prefer to have their medications nearby in a convenient location. We will allow the storage of medications as long as a waiver is signed indicating that you acknowledge our policies on the matter.
****Items valued over $500 will require a waiver signed by the customer along with a list of the items. For example, if you have a wedding ring valued at $700 we would prefer that you leave that at home. However, if you (the Customer) sign a waiver and list the item for the reason of the waiver, we can accept it for storage. Items that do not fall under this category are items such as cell phones. Any item such as jewelry, something deemed collectible, or similar that is also valued at or more than $500 will require a signed waiver before we can accept it.
STORAGE SIZING

So you don't know how much space you might need? No problem. Our set up will vary from event to event, but the most common setup requires that you place your items into a transparent air-lock bag so that we can then place your items into the appropriate storage container. Below you will see some examples of the various bag sizes and items that fit into these bags. Please note, the sample items are just for show and to give you a visual of what to expect. We will hold on to whatever you want us to as long as it fits in the correct size bag and doesn't violate our policy on storage items (see below).
Mini (4"x4")
Ideal for items like keys, wallets, credit cards, and loose change.
Small (6"x9")
Ideal for items that fit in the mini bag PLUS a cell phone, watch, medications etc.
Large (10"x12")
This size can accommodate the items in the medium bag PLUS a T-shirt.
Medium (8"x10")
Fits all the items from a small bag PLUS a phone charger and a pair of socks!
Extra Large (11.5"x15")
This size can fit items like a pair of running shoes, a small towel and everything that fits in the Large bag.
If you have your items in a backpack or duffle bag, we can hold them for you as well.
